Terms of Use
Last updated 2 October 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") apply to the MovieHouse applications for Android and Android TV, to any future MovieHouse applications, and to this website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use an online service, to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you. Some titles carry age ratings; you are responsible for respecting them.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the apps. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you believe someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. There is a limit on how many devices can be signed in to one account at the same time; you can release a device yourself from the sign-in screen.
3. Price
The Service is currently provided free of charge, with no advertising and no subscription. If this ever changes, we will tell you in the app before anything is charged, and you will be free to stop using the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or redistribute the apps, or remove any notices in them;
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools against the Service, or try to bypass its security, device limits or access controls;
- use the Service to break any law or to infringe anyone's rights;
- sell, rent or share your account, or offer the Service as part of a paid product of your own.
5. Content
Titles, artwork and other material available through the Service belong to their respective owners. Your use of them is limited to personal, non-commercial viewing within the apps. Downloads made in the app are for offline viewing on that device only. If you believe material available through the Service infringes your rights, please follow the process on our Copyright page.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Titles, features and supported devices may change, be added or be removed at any time. The apps update themselves; some updates may be required to keep using the Service.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or that is used in a way that harms the Service or other users. You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the apps.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MovieHouse is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this site before they take effect.
