MovieHouse respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to notify us if you believe material available through the Service infringes a copyright you own or represent, and what happens next.

Sending a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • the title, and where possible a screenshot or exact location in the app, of the material you want removed;
  • your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may be delayed while we ask for the missing information.

What we do

We review every complete notice and act promptly, which may include removing or disabling access to the material in question. We may forward the notice, including your contact details, to the user or source concerned.

Counter-notice

If you believe material you provided was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at your address. We will forward it to the original complainant.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others will be closed.
